Although both of these walks do not link with the West Leeds Country Park and Green Gateways trail they can be easily accessed.
For the "Riverside Ramble" it is recommended to leave the Leeds Liverpool Canal at Calverley Bridge and walk across the Calverley Packhorse Bridge towards the Calverley Lane Picnic Site to join the section of the "Riverside Ramble" that goes alongside the river Aire.
In regards to the "Woodside Walk", it is best to leave the Leeds Liverpool Canal at Pollard Lane, walk down and cross Newlay Bridge, turn right onto Rein Road and follow this track first along the river Aire and then finally alongside Outwood before reaching the A65 (New Road Side). Carefully cross this busy main road and join the "Woodside Walk" where Outwood Avenue join the A65.
Both connecting routes can be perused on the West Leeds Country Park and Green Gateways trail leaflets by clicking on the relevant links below: -
