Horsforth Walks

Produced by the Horsforth Village Historical Society, the Horsforth Walks comprise a series of walks in and around the Horsforth area looking at natural and local history. Only the first Horsforth Hike titled "The Horsforth Heritage Hike" utilises parts of the West Leeds Country Park and Green Gateways trail thus enabling the visitor to contemplate a diversionary loop. The third hike called " A Woodside Walk and A Riverside Ramble" can be easily accessed by leaving the Leeds Liverpool Canal and crossing the river Aire.

Further information about the heritage of Horsforth, the Horsforth Hikes  and other walks in the series can be obtained by visiting the Horsforth Museum. Contact details, location and opening hours of the museum can be found by clicking on the Horsforth Museum link below: -
