Leeds City Council Parks & Countryside Public Events Autumn-Winter, 2017-2018
Most of the events detailed here are free unless otherwise stated. However, donations are always gratefully received and the event leader may mention this during the event. Many of the ‘free’ events have actually been subsidised through fundraising by Friends of groups and volunteers. If you would like to find out how you could get involved in helping these groups organise events, fund raise and caring for their sites, see the Volunteer section of this website.
Dress in clothes that are suitable for the weather and in comfortable footwear that provides good ankle support. You are usually expected to provide your own food and drinks where required.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult unless otherwise stated.
Events may change at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We endeavour to run the events in all weathers but in extreme conditions please contact the event organiser to confirm it is still taking place.
Guide dogs are welcome, as are well behaved pet dogs if they are kept on a lead at all times.
