A superb wetlands nature reserve located in a large fold created by the River Aire close to the district of Rodley. The reserve was established on a site formerly used as a sewage treatment works. Over a number of years and with the help of many volunteers, the site has been transformed with various habitats created such as dragonfly ponds , wild flower meadows, reed beds, lagoons and deciduous woodland. The reserve can easily be accessed from the Leeds Liverpool Canal towpath and Rodley High Street.
